There are four different methods for selecting data:
By Point Buffer
Each of the four methods works on the ‘Active Layer’ which needs to be selected from the ‘Select Active Layer’drop-down. At the bottom of the list there is a Turn Layer Off option which will turn off the last active layer.
The Linked Documents tools allows you to select and active layer, they use the selection tools to select features on the map.
You can also search for a specific map or document and click the find it button. The ‘Results Tab’ will open at the bottom of the application
with links to .pdf documents associated with the features.
The By Layer tools allows you to select the active layer, and they a list of the features is generated. You can then select a feature
and the map will draw and zoom to the feature.
The By Point Buffer tool allows you to select the active layer, enter a buffer distance and then click on the map. Features within the
buffer distance in the active layer will be highlighted and added to the results tab at the bottom of the page where there attributes can be examined.
The By Feature Tool allows you to select the active layer, and then use the select feature tools to select features in that active layer. The
attributes of the selected features will be added to the results page.
